Report card

Wired Business gets little search traffic, whatever its DR says. Skip the paid tiers unless you know where its visitors come from.

How the score works

Directory Score = DR × traffic multiplier. A directory keeps its full DR only if people find it on Google. Badges and link swaps can raise DR; they can't fake search traffic.

Search visits a month	Multiplier
100,000+	× 1.0
10,000–99,999	× 0.8
1,000–9,999	× 0.6
100–999	× 0.4
1–99 ← Wired Business	× 0.2
None	× 0.0

Grades: A 40+, B 20–39, C under 20. DR is Ahrefs Domain Rating where we have it, otherwise a DataForSEO estimate; search visits are DataForSEO's monthly estimate, refreshed monthly.

Worth $29 if you want a quick, permanent do-follow link without adding a badge. There is no free option any more. The listings we checked link to the product twice without nofollow; only the 'Visit' button carries nofollow.

Worth It / Watch Out

Worth It

Live within minutes of payment, with no manual review
No backlink or badge needed
Two of the three links to your site on a listing page have no nofollow
You can edit the listing later through an emailed edit link

Watch Out

No free option: every listing costs $29
The 'Visit' button on each listing is rel='nofollow sponsored'
Listings are very mixed (games, proxies, construction firms), so expect little targeted traffic

Before You Submit

Login required: no. Multi-step form: yes (1 Website, 2 Screenshot, 3 Review, 4 Description, 5 Payment, 6 Live). Step 1 asks only for your URL and an acknowledgement of the rules: no low-quality or spammy sites, no adult, gambling or drug sites. The site then writes an AI description and takes a screenshot, which you review before paying. /submit shows the price; the form itself is at /submit-your-website?plan=paid. Every listing gets an edit link by email for changing the name, description, category and screenshot.

Check the AI-written description and the screenshot at the Review step before you pay

Before you submit:

Until at least August 2026 there was a free plan that required a backlink. The current submit page offers only the $29 listing, and the form treats ?plan=free as paid.
The 'DR 78' on the submit page is the site's own figure
The footer's 'The Badge' link returned a 404 when we checked
